Joint-Concert for Easter 2019
Following a successful concert earlier this year, when Tabernacl Choir joined with Llantrisant Male Voice Choir, who are also under the musical directorship of Matthew Nash, Tabernacl Music Society are pleased to announce that arrangements are being made for another joint concert during Easter 2019.

Wales and Sweden Sing Together
It is with great pleasure that we announce a joint concert between Tabernacl Choir and Bälinge and Börje Church Choirs, from the district of Bälinge near Uppsala in Sweden.
The concert will be held at Nolton Church on Friday, 21st September 2018 at 7.00pm.
The parish of Bälinge has links with Nolton Parish for some years, and this will be the third visit by the Swedish group to Bridgend. A small party from Nolton made a return visit to Bälinge last year.

SUMMER CONCERT 15 July 2018
Tabernacl Music Society will hold its annual Summer Concert on Sunday 15th July at Capel y Tabernacl, Derwen Road, Bridgend at 7.00pm. The Tabernacl Choir and orchestra will be performing 'Mass in D', a work for orchestra and chorus written by Dame Ethel Smyth (1858 - 1944), an English composer and a prominent member of the women's suffrage movement.
'Mass in D' is a setting of the mass ordinary for vocal soloists, chorus and orchestra, and it is fitting that this work is being performed in the year of the 100th anniversary of the Representation of the People Act 1918, which, for the first time, enfranchised women over the age of 30 who met minimum property qualifications.
The choir is pleased to announce that the soloists for this performance are: Alison Shone, Caroline Carragher, Osian Wyn Bowen and Gareth James.

Bridgend Tabernacl Choir are pleased to welcome back our old friends in Chorale Du Lac from Villenave D'Ornon, France. Both choirs will take part in a Twinning Concert in Tabernacl Chapel, Derwen Road, Bridgend on Friday 18th May at 7.00pm. Also taking part will be Trelales School Choir.

Christmas Concert on Friday 15 December 2017
Tabernacl Music Society will hold it's Annual Christmas Concert on Friday 15 December 2017 at Capel y Tabernacl, Derwen Road, Bridgend at 7.00pm. This years programme will include two settings of the Te Deumby Karl Jenkins and Charles Villiers Stanford, as well as popular Christmas songs and a selection of Carols.

Summer Concert Sunday July 16 2017
Tabernacl Music Society will hold it's annual Summer Concert on Sunday 16th July at Capel y Tabernacl, Derwen Road, Bridgend at 7.00pm. The Tabernacl Choir and orchestra will be performing 'Nightingales', a work for orchestra and chorus written by their Musical Director, Matthew Nash, set to a poem by English poet, Robert Bridges. 'Nightingales' was composed in 2011 as the final portfolio work for the MA Composition Degree, University of Bristol. The programme also includes, 'Toward The Unknown Region', by Ralph Vaughan Williams and various other pieces. Ticket prices to be announced.Published 02/05/2017
Tabernacl Music Society Christmas Concert with The RAF St Athan Voluntary Band [will be held on Friday 16 December at Capel y Tabernacl, Derwen Road, Bridgend at 7.00pm. The programme includes works by John Rutter, Ralph Vaughan Williams, Malcolm Sargeant and Howard Blake . The choir will also perform two new pieces, written especially for them,
'Newyddion Da' by Kevin Adams(former music director of the choir)and 'Bitter Song' by Richard Logan(who sings with the bass section).

Summer Concert July 10 2016
Tabernacl Music Society are pleased to announce that the annual Summer Concert with Choir and Orchestra will be held on Sunday 10th July at Capel y Tabernacl, Derwen Road, Bridgend at 7.00pm. The program will feature Edward Elgar: The Black Knight, Op 25, Samuel Coleridge-Taylor: Ballad for Orchestra, Malcolm Arnold: Little Suite No.2 and other pieces. Tickets including program are £12, Students £7.50.
The society is very grateful of the financial support for the concert from the Elgar Society and Ty Cerdd
Spring Concert-March 13th
The choir's next concert will take place in Tabernacl Chapel, Derwen Road, on Sunday, March 13th when the choir will perform two main works - Faure's Requiem and John Rutter's Requiem - accompanied on the organ by Glenn Crooks. The choir was very sad to hear that Laura Deenik had reluctantly resigned her position as accompanist with the choir and we wish her well in the future.
However, the choir has been very fortunate to be able to appoint Glenn Crooks as our new accompanist. Glenn is an accomplished accompanist on both piano and organ and we are delighted that he has joined us.
